A New Haven
web design company.

We're at 157 Church Street, a few doors from the Green. Not a support inbox in another state — when you call the number on this page, you reach the people who actually built your site.

Actually here

Not “serving” New Haven. Based in it.

Search for web design companies in New Haven, CT and you get a wall of agencies that have never set foot here — white-label shops reselling the work, or one freelancer in another state who bought the keyword. We are on Church Street, between the Green and the courthouse, and we have been building sites for businesses in this city for years.

That changes the work. We can photograph your actual space instead of buying stock. We know that a Chapel Street restaurant and a Whitney Avenue practice want completely different things above the fold. And when something breaks at four on a Friday, you are calling a person, not opening a ticket.

Who we build for

New Haven isn’t one market.

Downtown to Westville, Wooster Square to Science Park — the businesses here have little in common except that the site has to earn its keep.

Restaurants & hospitality

Wooster Square, Chapel Street, the Ninth Square. A menu that is readable on a phone, hours that are actually current, and reservation or ordering links that work on the first tap.

Professional practices

Law, dental, accounting and medical along Whitney, Orange and Temple. Credibility has to land before anyone books — so the site leads with proof, not adjectives.

Retail & e-commerce

Storefronts that also ship. Real product pages, a checkout that does not lose people, and inventory that matches what is actually on the shelf.

Labs, startups & nonprofits

Science Park, Long Wharf, and the wider Yale orbit. Explaining complicated work to people outside it, without burying the point in jargon.

E-commerce

Selling online, properly.

New Haven e-commerce web design is its own discipline. A shop is not a brochure site with a cart bolted on — it is inventory, payments, shipping rules and tax, all of which have to stay correct after launch.

We build on WooCommerce and Shopify depending on what the business actually needs — not on whichever one we happen to prefer. If you carry a few dozen products and ship locally, those are different builds.

We also take over stores other people built. Most of that work is unpicking a checkout that quietly loses customers, or a catalogue that has drifted out of sync with the stockroom.

What we handle: product and category pages that can actually rank, payments and shipping configured for Connecticut, a checkout tested on real phones, and the hosting underneath it so the shop stays fast on the day you need it most.

Common questions

Straight answers.

Are you actually based in New Haven?

Yes. The studio is at 157 Church Street in downtown New Haven, and the people who design and build your site are the people you meet and call. We are not a reseller and we do not hand the work to a third party.

Do you build e-commerce sites?

Yes. We build online stores on WooCommerce and Shopify, and we take over existing stores that need fixing. That covers product and category pages, payments, shipping and tax configured for Connecticut, and a checkout tested on real devices before launch.

How much does a website cost in New Haven?

It depends on scope. A focused site for a single-location practice or restaurant is a very different build from a store with a few hundred products and live inventory. We quote a fixed price against a written scope, so there is no hourly meter running.

Do you handle hosting and ongoing updates?

We can. Design, development, hosting and maintenance are handled in one place, so when something needs changing there is one number to call and no argument about whose problem it is.
